Tunnel Rat band member, Harold Hollingshed, served at Misawa Air Force base in the USAFSS during the Cold War. He and his fellow Tunnel Rats band members traveled to Branson and entertained the group with an impromptu jam Thursday night and on stage Friday evening, August 10th.<\/p>\n

\nthese strange and special few?
\nWhere do they come from, year-on-year?
\nWhat is it that they do?<\/p>\n
\nor vapor in the air,
\nso seldom seen and rarely heard
\nbut rest assured, they’re there<\/p>\n
\nthey come from far and wide,
\nthe open plains, the city streets,
\nthe rural countryside<\/p>\n
\nthe girl who lived next door,
\nthe uncle of a high school friend
\nwho gave his life at war<\/p>\n
\nwho heard his country call,
\nor friends with whom we laughed and sipped
\nwhose names are on “THE WALL”<\/p>\n
\nfor none will ever tell,
\nin silence based on “need to know”
\nthey proudly serve so well<\/p>\n
\nwho vanquished freedom’s foe,
\nthey are the ones who fuel the fire
\nwhich keeps THE TORCH aglow.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
